Gesture Sketching In Oils

This is one of my favorite things to do with oil paint, but is difficult to find anywhere that offers this kind of workshop or class, it isn’t as common as one would think.  I could probably set up a timer and try to do it at home, but the act of painting from life is so much more challenging and rewarding all at the same time.  It pushes every skill developed, figure drawing, portrait drawing, color theory, figure and portrait painting, and composition all at once.
