The books on this page are the best digital tutorial books I have found that actually dig deep into the techniques and tools. There are many basic books on the general uses of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc., however, the books on this list are more advanced and serve to help solve pictorial problems and render paintings to a highly polished finish.

The Book in Three Sentences: The artwork and concepts in this book is top notch and has a wonderfully loose, painterly quality to the finishes. This is a collection book but it is packed from front to back with step by step process shots and extremely in-depth descriptions to go along with them. While most collection books focus just on the finished work, Paperblue focuses on how he was inspired and how it was built.
