Color Wheel Resource Page

Below you will find the information needed to make a color wheel.  Keep in mind that although this is a digital version, the best results are when you make one traditionally with oil paint, preferably Da Vinci oils for their chromatic properties that very few other brands heighten the way Da Vinci does.

The Color Palette is as follows (Preferably Da Vinci paints):

• Titanium White
• Cadmium Yellow Pale
• Cadmium Yellow Orange
• Cadmium Red Light
• Alizarin Crimson
• Red Rose Deep
• Ultramarine Blue
• Cerulean Blue
• Viridian Green
• Ivory Black

This is the same wheel but shown in gray scale.  Notice how all the color blocks are the same value down each color space.  This is how you should build your color wheel, keeping this in mind with each color tile painted.
